Computer Networks and Systems
The Higher Technician in Networks and Computer Systems is the professional who, autonomously or under supervision, installs and maintains networks and computer systems to support the different management areas of the organization, and can ensure the management and operation of computer equipment and respective communication networks.

Career Prospects
- Plan and design communication networks, according to the needs of the organization and reflecting concerns about ergonomics and security;
- Install and configure communication networks, at the level of cabling infrastructure, operating system, equipment and services, using appropriate procedures in order to ensure the proper functioning of them Manage and maintain communication networks, systems, services and servers, in a secure, efficient and reliable way, in order to optimize their operation;
- Participate in the design of a secure working environment for corporate networks;
- Plan, install, configure, administer and support a structured database system;
- Install, configure and administer electronic mail platforms (e-mail) and Web services;
- Know and analyze standards and recommendations and ensure that the organization manages its information according to good practices, ethical, legal and social principles and international recommendations.
Recipients
Holders of the 12th grade or legally equivalent qualification.
CET holders, CTeSP holders or holders of a higher education degree.
Over the age of 23 – those who have passed the tests specially designed to assess capacity to attend higher education.
